Specialists in Optimum Nutrition for a Healthy Workforce Welcome to our website. We are a team of private health specialists located in Harley Street London and at Biolab Medical London. We specialise in Optimum Nutrition and Stress Management education for businesses and organisations in the SME (Small to Medium Enterprise) and large business corporate categories in London and the City of London. We already work in partnership with UK and Pan European businesses in the Financial Services, Manufacturing, and Fitness & Sports sectors to deliver a healthy lifestyle with many repeat engagements with these clients.
Background in Financial Services & Senior Management Prior to taking up management roles in our organisation, key members of our practice worked in senior management consultancy roles for clients located in the City of London including NatWest and Commerzbank and Government departments. From this involvement - and our growing list of clients - comes our recognition of the importance of our unique contribution towards maintaining a healthy workforce in todays competitive and stressful working environment.
Enabling a Reduction in Staff Absence Chronic Fatigue is caused by stress - stress is often attributed to modern competitive business practices and a hectic lifestyle. As occupational health service providers we help senior management to maintain a fit and healthy resource pool (workforce) through employee education in Stress Management and Optimum Nutrition. Stress Management is a technique which has been effectively used to reduce stress on the employee leading to a more balanced employee who can better cope with a high stress workload (no peak and crash syndrome). Optimum Nutrition is a proven concept which provides the body with the right amounts of nutrients to help achieve best performance and the longest possible lifetime of good health. Bringing both together could significantly contribute to a reduction of absenteeism through a more effective workforce, a reduction in sick leave through stress related illness leading to greater profitability, and better staff utilisation.
The Cost of Absenteeism to Business The facts and trends in Staff Absenteeism are quite illuminating. Our research indicates that "'HR Today Xpert HR survey shows that employee absence rates have declined with 4% of time lost in 2006 to 2.8% of time lost through absenteeism in 2010. This means that average cost in the UK of staff absence was £533 per employee" . Thats high and more can be done and needs to be done to reduce this percentage even further. Thats where we step in. As specialists we know that educating employees about looking after their mind and body can lead to cost savings many times greater than the very modest investment needed for our services to help achieve this objective. We think you will agree that it all makes sense!
